What is the length of my front + rear axle?

Our rim brake bikes used a standard over-locknut dimension (OLD) of 9x100mm in the front and 10x130mm in the rear, both requiring quick-release skewers.

Our disc brake bikes all have a standard OLD of 12x100mm (front) and 12x142mm (rear).

Disc brake-equipped bikes with a standard, threaded fork insert take an M12x127mm front axle with a 1.5mm thread pitch. Non-UDH rear axles use an M12x170.5mm with a 1.75mm thread pitch.

Our newer bikes with direct-mount front brakes use an M12x122 front axle with 1.5mm thread pitch. For these UDH-equipped bikes the rear axle is an M12x169mm with 1mm thread pitch.

For our mountain bikes, the front axle dimension will be determined by the manufacturer of the fork. The rear axle is an M12x180mm with 1mm thread pitch.

The Thru-Axle Compatibility Chart (here) provides specifications and compatibility information for various Cervélo thru-axles. All Cervélo Aero Thru-Axles must be installed with the supplied 21.5 mm washer.
